Well after traveling some 500,000 miles in a rather large Recreational Vehicle, I must say that when I stop at Truck Stops, I am a little concerned for those truck drivers who come in, as they are out of shape, many are obese and they look like they are very near a diabetic collapse.
Something must be done to assist them. I can tell you this and that is that the truck stops need to chill out on all the junk food they sell and start selling things that are better for these drivers. Truck Driver Health is at Issue and we already have a shortage of truck drivers in this nation and if these guys get any worse than on their health they will be in some deep serious health declines.

The Jeep Hurricane is a concept vehicle unveiled by Daimler-Chrysler at the 2005 North American International Auto Show. It opened with and continues to receive rave reviews! So many in fact that it was rumored that Daimler-Chrysler was considering a limited production run of the vehicle. Those rumors have died down, but the Hurricane continues to draw the interest and attention of 4×4 afficianados, and hey, why not?
As the Daimler-Chrysler spokesman said: “Jeep Hurricane is simply the most maneuverable, most capable and most powerful 4×4 ever built. It pays homage to the extreme enthusiasts’ Jeep vehicles in form and off-road capability, but is a unique interpretation of Jeep design. Simply stated, it is the extreme example for the Jeep brand.”

Westport Innovation, a company specializing in environmental technologies, recently implemented the High Pressure Direct Injection technology for diesel trucks. This technology consists of a liquefied natural gas powered truck to reduce the gas emissions and economizes the fuel. The trucks have 400 hp Cummins ISX engines with Exhaust Gas Recirculation. That results in a quiet, efficient and clean travel.

Often politicians tell us that they are planning new transportation projects to help alleviate traffic and they tell us what they are completed everything will flow smoothly. But this is never the case because they always take longer than expected to be completed and they always caused massive traffic slowdowns and jams because lanes are blocked and cars have to slow down to get through a smaller compressed area or choke point.
This is why any time someone says they are planning a traffic or transportation projects don’t believe them. Besides by the time the transportation project gets done there will be even more traffic to deal with. Additionally if you are a small business person you know that when ever they try to do something new or work on a project near your store you lose business because people cannot get to you to buy your products or services.

I just got back from the Memphis International Auto Show. They had a wide selection of all the best cars and trucks available. I got to spend time in the Nissan trucks without being prodded by sales people.
Of course, the Armada was my favorite. It seemed to have everything. Big 305hp engine, 5-speed automatic, aluminum wheels, running boards and even a rear sonar system was standard. Some of the neat frills and options I would have selected were the chrome grill, auto-leveling suspension and the power tailgate. Apart from the price, this was the flagship from Nissan.
The Pathfinder has been around for a while in name only because this Nissan has been completely redesigned. Its much more luxurious and modern on the interior, but still has ample power and features you’d expect from an SUV.
