A Fiesta worth its name: For once, a European Ford will make it to the U.S. market without compromise.
Over the past couple of decades we’ve reviewed several impressive European Ford models that are not available to American buyers. Now, at last, here is one that will be coming to the U.S., the first product of CEO Alan Mulally’s “One Ford” global car policy: the new Fiesta.
Launched in Europe this fall, it will be built in Mexico and sold in the U.S. in 2010. Although the emphasis in the U.S. will be on the sedan version, Ford plans to offer the five-door hatchback as well, currently the most popular version of the car in Europe. (more…)

The elasticity of all-new gets a test here, as Ford stretches the words to surround this large front-drive sedan, known previously as the Five Hundred. Tepid sales and a new CEO led to the revival of a once-bright nameplate, even though that name had been dumped after years of sedans whose appeal seemed limited mostly to rental fleets. (more…)

As promised, Ford will deliver a full run of anniversary H-D trucks in 2008.
When we first drove the 2007 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 Supercharged, we reported that the supercharged engine”originally planned for production in 2008”was a last-minute addition to the line for 2007 in response to consumer interest in the F-150 FX2 Extreme truck shown at the 2006 SEMA show. The 2007 Ford Crown Victoria is a 4-door, 6-passenger family sedan, available in two trims, the Standard and the LX.
Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 224-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.

The 2007 Ford Mustang is a 2-door, 4-passenger family coupe, sports coupe, convertible, or convertible sports car, available in 8 trims, ranging from the V6 Deluxe Coupe to the GT Premium Convertible.
Upon introduction, the V6 Deluxe Coupe is equipped with a standard 4.0-liter, V6, 210-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The GT Premium Convertible is equipped with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 300-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
